Please read: We raise, release and distribute our Monarchs as part of our campaign to assist their annual migration. By placing an order through this site you have only reserved a place in line. When you are contacted to go over all details and ensure the proper release of the butterflies then and only then will you receive our commitment to ship living items.

While somewhat rare we do get requests for butterfies to be sent to regions when due to weather issues their release would cause concern. We have the right to cancel any order for any reason. We will contact you as soon as possible if your stated event date or request is problematic.

Our first concern is the safety of the live butterflies and that their release is truly spectacular. We will call to review shipping details and instructions carefully several days before the actual shipment.

We can accept orders throughout the USA, however are unable to directly ship Monarchs in any life stage West of the Rockie Mountains due to Aphis regulations and permit restrictions. While we have partner Breeders in CA to assist they occasionally experience shortages. We will arrange the shipment of Adult Butterflies based on availability and directly ship all other items. There may be a 2 dozen butterfly minimum depending on our supply partner requirements.

Choose the number of Butterflies you want in the boxes below. Price is per butterfly. Adult butterflies must be sent Overnight Express. Shipping is fixed at $70 up to 10 dozen butterflies. Please reserve your event date early as availability is limited. Saturday delivery is available to many areas for an additional $15. This handling cost includes: clear envelope for each adult, wood release box, insulated shipping container, ice pack, food if necessary, care instructions, and some Milkweed Seeds for your guests!

We recommend that you have the butterflies delivered exactly one day before your scheduled event. If your event is on a Sunday or Monday there is an additional charge for special delivery arrangements. To reserve your event date, type your event date here.
